Dinny's Retreat is a wonderful cottage set one mile from the hamlet of Selside, five miles from Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District National Park. This cottage sleeps two people in one king-size double bedroom. The cottage also has a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there is a rear decked area with furniture and a side garden. Dinny's Retreat is a lovely romantic base in an area that has many attractions to suit all tastes.

Gas central heating with woodburning stove in sitting area. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Lockable bike storage. Lawned garden to side. Rear, private decked area with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. Note: This property is set on the edge of a small complex of privately-owned lakeside holiday lodges. Note: Property not suitable for children - max. 2 adults. |

Kendal is a market town in Cumbria, England, which is very popular with tourists. Famed for the Kendal Mint Cake it is a great place to stay if you wish to explore the surrounding lake district. Kendal is located within a few miles of Appleby, Levens, Crook, Staveley, Milnthorpe, and Preston Patrick and is one of over a hundred towns and villages in Cumbria in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest cities are Lancaster (population 45,952), Carlisle (population 71,773), and Liverpool (which has a population of 469,017 according to the 2001 Census).
